Nurturing a stronger connection

Miracles In Sight, one of the nation’s largest eye banks, needed a way to develop a stronger relationship with recipients of donated corneal tissue to improve awareness of the importance of eye donation and foster support. Reuben Rink created a printed packet that corneal transplant surgeons could present to patients after surgeries. The packet had to be designed to be self-contained and easy to store and deliver. We developed the format, content and design that included introductory messaging about the organization and its mission, as well as how to engage with donor families and support the nonprofit organization going forward. The concept included a seed packet to symbolize growth and new life as a way for the recipient to honor their tissue donor. The material had to connect with the Miracles In Sight brand, yet stand alone with a more respectful, emotive message and tone.
